instead of posting different posts here are my questions in one


i need to get started planning there 1st b-day it's june 1st. where did you go to get their invitations?

where do you sell their stuff? i have 2 swings that i can sell and their 2 infant carriers for starters

 

I too have issues with selling because we are so small town here. I am take mine to an annual yard sale in May... Maybe craigs list? Although i have no experience with it at all... Ebay but shipping would be insane i think...

Birthday - well i had a friend do the invites... google baby 1st birthday photo invites and see what happens, there are alot of great sites... We bought the b/g stuff at factory card oulet... we just went with blue and pink first birthday stuff... It is a little tuff with b/g but i hope over the years it gets easier...

I second craigslist. I sold my co-sleeper there. I recently put som items up for sale (bumbo, bouncers, etc) on my Mom of Multiples board. You might try that too. If they don't sell there, I'll put them on craigslist as well. As far as invittions go, I'm making mine in photoshop so I don't really have that many ideas, but I did come across this website.

 

I vote for Craigslist, too. It's awesome. I've sold lots of stuff on it.

For invites - I'm kinda playing with them and have made a few for my friends. If you are interested, I could try to put something together for you! If you follow this blog, you can see the Disney invite I've made for my boys' birthday that is in May. I have a few other ones that I have made, too.

Do you have the store "Once upon a child" near you? I know they are in several cities. They take used stuff and will give you money for it (although I don't know how much).

 

There are other consignment stores also Kid To Kid and Children's Orchard are here. You could look for them online in your area.

 

i will try craigs list..i don't know of any other place around here that i can sell them to. some of the places posted on here i don't think they have but i will check them also.

i am not sure about the invitastions for their birthday yet. i saw a cute one online that had a cake and boy girl on each side with a number one on top of cake. it was cute but nothing else really on it so i may just send out regularinvites. we are having like 70 people here because DH's family is so big and it's if you invite this one you have to invite that one. MIL wants everyone but i laid my foot down because that's like 200 people. i mean for real i want to enjoy their day not work it all day...ugh
