questions about NST and appointments.. is this normal?

Ok, I am 30 weeks 2 days with our second set! The girls will be 3 the end of August now. Had appt. today with regular OB. Went good, only thing I am measuing 45 weeks already! I have excess fluid for both boys but the peri has been watching that closely till now. I also got a preventative cerclage at 14 weeks (had emergency one with girls at 20 weeks) I am on Procardia (nifedipine) 3 times a day for irratable uterus. Modified bedrest (but I mostly lay down. getting so big and uncomfortable)
But.. regular OB only wants to see me in two weeks. I also have appt with peri that day. Should I be having weekly by now? I just can't remember with the girls (switched practices and LOVE my new doc besides a few questions) Just seems like so much could happen in two weeks at this point.
And NST.. I never did have scheduled ones with the girls but was in the hospital 6 times before I had them at 35 weeks (any where from a couple hour stay to a couple days) from 23 weeks on with contractions so was on the monitor lots. Just noticed alot of you have had them and my doc now says he doesn't do them for twins unless mo/mo or something else is going on. Both our sets are di/di..
This time I do know and trust my body more so am more relaxed from that point but do want to take care of these little guys and get them here healthy..

I didn't start going weekly until 34 weeks. It was every 2 weeks until then. I had di/di too.

 

Same here, it was every 2 weeks until 34 weeks, and then weekly and after the appointment for 36 weeks he didn't want to see me until the delivery which was 37 weeks and 5 days - I thought that was odd, but everything went fine, I had no cervix issues or contractions. Good luck and I hope you can make it as long as possible!

 

I think I went every other week from 28-34 weeks, then every week with NST's at each appt until I delivered. I also had monthly ultrasounds until 34 weeks, then I went once a week until I was 37 weeks, then went twice a week until I delivered. My pregnancy was uneventful.
