at 9 months old, can they still sense me nearby? cuz EVERYTIME i walk by their bedroom (their door is closed), someone wakes up. and i tiptoe... no floor creaking or anything like that. even in the night if i get up and tiptoe out someone stirs. is it possibe that at 9 months they can still sense me?

 

Can they sense you earlier than 9 mos (like at 4 mos?) This happens to me ALL the time! I figured it was always a coincidence, or maybe I already heard them subconsciously and that's why I woke up to check on them. If that's true though, I'll stay in bed next time!

 

Wow! That's super sensory babies. Do you have a white noise machine turned on in there?

 

I have no idea. My girls are heavy sleepers and I go in and check on them a couple times a night (still!), and they NEVER wake up.

 

This happens with me if there isnt enough white noise. A white noise machine alone isnt loud enough, I have a fan in the room and another right outside the room and during the cooler months I use the humidifier. And even still they'd wake up if a mouse farts!

 

I'd swear mine do it still sometimes, and they are closing in on 2 years. But DD1 was that way for a long time, too, and she's past it now.
