Question on babies turning

I went to my perinatalogist last Monday. The babies were both transverse. A couple of months ago, Baby A was vertex and B was breech. Then Baby A was breech and B transverse. Now they are both transverse. I am at nearly 32 weeks and wondering if there's still time for them to turn. They are still very active but I've heard that the babies sort of settle in at this point and just get bigger. They are already 3lbs 15 oz and 4lbs 1 oz. The peri said they are measuring above average at this point which is most likely my norm seeing I have 9-10lbers at 40 weeks. ;)

Did any of you have your babies turn at the last minute?

There is ALWAYS time for them to turn... although it does get more difficult at the end. My Twin A was vertex until sometime before my 28th week. He then stayed low and breech until birth at 38 weeks. I do hear stories though of babies turning right up until the end. Good luck!

Mine are still moving around..well Baby B is anyway. He keeps switching between vertex and breech.
I can usually tell when he is flipping though because it's really uncomfy for me.

They both moved from transverse about a month ago...

I haven't had my twins yet but my peri said twins can flip right up until the day mom goes into labor. He actually said that twins can flip more so than singletons, that singletons usually stay in position once they settle in to place. I thought that seemed a little backwards, but I don't know!

Mine just turned at 33 (almost 34) weeks. My babies are also on the large side; my first was +9 pounds. I take a lot of baths where I lay on my side so that my whole stomach is completely in the water (so it is weightless). I'm pretty sure that throughout my pregnancy that was then when they moved the most.

I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

Both of my twins flipped to head down around 33-34 weeks. But then my girl decided to flip transverse again a week or two later. She's the higher twin, so we're still going to try a vaginal delivery. I don't want to get my hopes up, but it feels like she may have flipped head down again--she doesn't feel as high up, and I'm feeling some movement in the lower right side of my belly.

    Good luck!!!

I had one that flipped at 35 weeks and the other flipped at 38 weeks. That was a trip. It can happen up till the last minute.

I had my weekly appt on a Tuesday- both were breech. My water broke at 1am Saturday morning and baby B had flipped. (A was still breech, requiring the c/s of course!) But I was shocked that B had been able to flip! (oh and that was in my 35th week!)
