I'm starting to register and was wondering what you thought of the Graco Pack N Play with twins bassinet. Did anyone use it in the main living area for changing and napping, or just sleeping at night in your room? I'm trying to figure out if I should register for that one for our room and a regular one for the living room or just use regular individual bassinets in our room and a pack n play in the living room. Sorry, I hope I'm making sense here! Any advice will be GREATLY appreciated!

We have never used our twin pack and play at home and the girls only slept in the bassinett part once when we were away. Now the sleep in the bottom of it together.

We used a co sleeper in our room at night for the first 5months and the girls always napped in their cribs. Now the co sleeper is free standing and is used - still in our room as a nap spot, while the other girl naps in her crib. They wake each other up from naps so we separate them in the daytime.

I'd say you will probably want 2 pnp's but not necessarily the twin ones. I definitely wouldn't spend the money on 2 twin ones. Maybe one regular and one double..

We had the regular PNP with the bassinette and changing table, not the twin one, and we thought we would use it for the boys to sleep in our room for the first month or two ... that lasted about 3 days and we moved them to the crib in the nursery. We actually slept (ha) better with them in the other room and the baby monitors on then listening to thier every change of breathe. The PNP then went to Grandma n Grandpa's house and they slept in that when my parents would have them over, then it was used to play outside over there, now I have it and I put it on the balcony for the kiddos to play in outside and I use it for tubtime, when I am bathing one I plunk the other one in it so he's safe. Tons of uses!!!

Oh, and I never used the changing table feature on the PNP. I could have gotten a much cheaper one for the functions I used!!!

I never used a pack and play. We used a co-sleeper in our room (Arm's reach) for about a month and used bassinets in the living room for the first month. Then got rid of them all and moved them into cribs in their own rooms where they've been sleeping ever since.

My advice is to borrow things like that or buy used- you never know if you'll really use them and they cost a lot and are perfectly fine second, third and fourth hand even :)

I had the twin PNP and I really liked it. I still use the bottom for traveling and it is great because it is bigger than the standard PNP. All in all it's a good buy.

I love it - we have a two story house. the nursery is upstairs but we spend most of the day downstairs. So we put the twin PnP downstairs and use it for napping/changing, so we don't have to keep running upstairs. At night, the babies have always slept in their nursery - never in our room.

I don't know anything about the twin one, sorry. We set up a PNP in our living room for the first month or so and they slept in it together in the bassinet area for naps. They've been in their cribs at night from the get go (not enough room in our room for them) together for the first 2 months, then we separated them into their own beds. We now use the PNP's anytime we spend the night anywhere and we'd use one outside last year when they were still crawling.

We had a regular PNP and we put in the livingroom. My twins slept in there during the day for about 2 months. Not only did they exceed the weight limit, but we discovered that they liked napping in their swings much more! You may find that yours just like napping elsewhere and you may not really need the higher weight limit that the twin PNP gives you. Either way, I think at least 1 PNP is absolutely necessary.
Our PNP has been very handy for many reasons. Ours has always been in the livingroom. We use the changing compartment for changing diapers rather than walking to their room. We also used it for 1 twin to sleep in at night if he/she was crying too much and keeping the other twin awake. Now it's main use is to store toys, which we sometimes clean out to give the kids a few seconds of "time-out" after they hit or bite each other.

One thing you will absolutely need is Boppy Pillows, make that 2 pillows !!! Happy Shopping !

i just got a regular one and they are still in it at almost 3 months old. It has been perfect and to me the twin one was too pricey for the few more pounds it held. It holds up just fine for them and i too think that you only need one PnP.
