question for those who start BC pills on a Sunday

Hey ladies! Got a question for you......if you start your bc pills on a sunday cycle, what day of the week does your period usually start? I finished my pack of pills on Sat and still no period yet. (this is the 1st pack of pills since I stopped nursing, and it seems like forever since I've been on bc pills, so my memory is fuzzy).

Shouldn't I have started by now??? I haven't missed any pills, so I wasn't worried about being prego again, but now my mind is starting to wonder???!!! Thanks for the help!!

Well it really depends on what type of pill you are on. For me I always had my period by Tuesday morning. Now I'm on a different pill that has more days with active hormones and things are all sorts of screwy.

 

I have got it as late as Thursday PM. I was also very late when I went back on it after the boys and very thick at first.

Always Tuesday when I was on the pill, but this was never anywhere near a time I'd been pg.

I'm on Wed.

 

It probably depends on the Pill. I take Levlite and mine doesn't start until Friday night.

 

When I was on the pill it was Wed. or Thur.

 

Almost always on Wednesday, never before. In fact, today is Wednesday and I was starting to get nervous myself. But I'm ok now. (I take Ortho Tri Cyclene...)

 

Wed night to Thurs night at the latest.

When I first start the BC pill again, it took a few months for things to kick in. In fact, the second or third cycle I was really late and oh man did I freak out.

 

Tuesday am like clockwork before I got pregnant with the girls. My BC pill was changed to the generic(Allesse no longer sold at Costco) and with that BC pill-same hormone comp just diff fillers-it came late Thursday/early Friday. My generic has been changed again and I haven't gotten a period the last two months but kinda have the feeling it is on its way, lol. I asked the OB about the change when I was first switched to the generic and she said that the active ingredients may be the same, but you can react differently.

 

Put me with the Tuesday crowd on this one...like clockwork for almost 7 years.

Anywhere from the Friday before stopping to the Wednesday afterwards!

 

Mine always starts the Monday.

**Just to warn you, make sure you are still using backup method for the first 3 months after you start. I got pregnant while taking my 2nd pack of pills after I stopped BF'ing!
