I know there was a post recently on this board or another about going to see Thomas the Train. It seemed like more kids were three years old or older and really enjoyed it. Ian and Grayson will be two the end of October. It says it's free for kids under two, SO I was thinking of taking them then (Thomas is coming to NC two times this year). Just wondered if it would be worth it? We'd still have to pay for two adult tickets and for travel. I'm just curious if they would be too little and maybe next year would be better......thoughts, suggestions, input???

    TIA

We are going next month and the kids will be almost 2.5, I hope they enjoy it since we had to pay for their tickets. If your kids are really into trains, my guess is that they will like it.

I think that if they are really into Thomas, they would like it.

Ours had plenty to do for littler kids too and their were alot of littler kids there. I think that you'll just have to have a stronger presense at the train tables. My kids wanted to play at the battery train table instead of the wooden tables. At the battery table they were with older kids (more the 5ish range) and I had to be right there to keep the older kids from just pushing mine out of the way and taking the trains. A younger kid would have very much enjoyed the one we went too.

Just wanted to let you know that when I went in March near Dallas you only needed a ticket to ride the train all the rest of the stuff you could get into without a ticket. (my kids were 2yr 5 months) There were coloring tables, train tables, small train ride for kids that can pedal, visit from Bob is just one guy in a bob suit, story place, tatoos and inflatable jumper, and of course the gift shop.

It is fun but you might want to wait until next year and go then. If you go bring food and plan to have lunch there.

Mine LOVE Thomas. We took them a few weeks before their 2nd birthday and they had a great time. I think they will enjoy it :)

We live in NC and are considering going and Thomas and Emma will be 2 in January. They love Thomas the train. We also have a 6 year old and he wants to go so I think we are going to try it and see what happens. I say go for it!!
