Question about the Jeep Twin Umbrella

Got a question for you all who have the Jeep Twin Umbrella-style stroller. We just got ours and put it together today. Do you guys have the issue with the canopies popping off when you fold the stroller? I checked and double-checked to try to make sure I had them snapped on correctly, and I think I do, but the outside clips just pop right off the frame when I fold it. Is this normal? Will it wear in? Should I just assume I need to take the canopy off before folding?

I just take the canopy off and leave it in my car unless it's going to be a bright day. They're not great canopies anyway, probably the only real drawback on that stroller (besides the cupholder being crap).

 

We had that problem, too, though it didn't always happen. I agree with just leaving the canopies off for the most part; like pp said, they're not very useful anyway!

 

We take the canopies off too. They're a pain.
