I haven't tried the teething tablets, but many of you swear by them. I've been giving DS motrin when he is in pain, and it seems to be daily...therefore I would like to go with something more natural and give him motrin if necessary.

Question: If I had to give him both (teethign tablets and motrin) do they interact with one another? Anything I should know?

Also - I give him prevacid, will there be an interaction between prevacid and the teething tablets?

My girls were on prevacid and I used the teething tablets from time to time. To be honest, I didn't really notice much difference in their demeanor/teething process due to the tablets. I typically just stick to motrin when they need it and that has worked fine.

My boys were on Prevacid. We used teething tablets and motrin. My boys got a lot of relief from the teething tablets.

Mine are also on Prevacid. We use Motrin alternating with Tylenol (but mostly Motrin). The teething tablets work sometimes, but the Motrin works the best for us. I know what you mean, I feel like I'm constantly giving it to the teething baby, but it's all that really works for us. Good luck!

One thing to consider too is that the teething tablets are not FDA approved since they are homeopathic. My Ped did not recommend them due to that. But there are plenty on here who swear by them.

Same experience here. I know some swear by them, but they didn't do much for us!

That's all my pedi would recommend for teething. He specifically said to get Hylands and they worked well for us.

I don't know how they interact with Prevacid (which I think I spelled wrong) but I am one of the ones who swear by them. DS is getting his molars in and we give them along with the Motrin and the combo of both seems to help him with the pain. I usually will give Tylenol during the day and Motrin before bed becaue Motrin is every 6 hours. Remember too that Motrin can be harsh on the tummy, so I'm not sure if that matters with reflux or not. Good luck! You can also double check with your pedi too if you are unsure! Let us know how you make out!
