Do I really need to get a 6th stroller?

I have 3 from my 1st son- beach/jogger, travel system (is that what it's called?), and a sort-of umbrella stroller.

For the twins I have a duo-glider (it was free from a friend of mine), and a Valco (LOVE IT!) Those 2 strollers are just so heavy/bulky, but do have great advantages.

My sister just sent the girls a $50.00 gift cert. from amazon.com.

I was thinking about getting a double umbrella stroller. Should I and which one? I was looking at the jeep one, but it's cheap? Is it any good? The others are sort-of out of my price range since I don't really need another stroller.

    Thoughts? Thanks!!

We had the Jeep one and hated it. We ended up getting a Combi Twin Savvy, but that is much more expensive than the Jeep. I say since you already have 2 strollers that you like, then just use the money for something else.

If you don't mind the Duoglider and Valco then I would say no. However the DuoGlider got to be too heavy for me so we got a Peg Perego Aria and honestly I wish I would have gotten it a lot sooner.

I have the valco and use it nearly every day!! I am actually looking at the single valco with the toddler jumpseat!!! We have the Double with a jump seat but dd does not really need it anymore since she is almost 5!!!!!!!! [IMG] So we may downsize to that.

Buy them something fun for summer [IMG] Skip the extra stroller!

  6. I was thinking the same thing. I have double jogger, jeep tandem stroller and two single umbrella strollers. BUT the first two are really heavy and bulky to lift in and out of minivan for quick errands where they do not have shopping carts. The clip to attach two single umbrella strollers does NOT fit through doorways  So, yes, I bought a jeep double umbrella stroller and love it! I miss the bags to put things in but i got a cool mesh bag that works great! Oh and my boys LOVE sitting next to eachother so they can see everything rather than the tandem seat. One is never elevated enough for the back one to see well.

So its up to you whether you want to splurge on something better for yourself or your girls. :p

I have a Jeep, it's a few years old now and a little beat up, but we love it. I bought it from another mom of twins for $20. We still use it all the time, since my boys like to run away from me.

We were in this boat... I had a Duo Glider, Jeep SBS, and a Wagon and Single Umbrella stroller but none of them were doign the job I wanted.... I love the Jeep SBS but it was often to big to fit through someof the stores i loved going to....no to mention it was to short for me b/c im so tall i felt like i was bending over all the time...

I went to target and pick up the double Eddie Bauer stroller... Its short like a singel and its very easy to push around.. I LOVE THIS STROLLER!!!!!!!!!! wish I would have had it the whole 16 months...... We also have the wagon for the summer and trips to the zoo or camping......

Update! The Jeep SBS does NOT fit easily thru standard doorways! It is just an inch or so too wide. Or maybe I am not pushing it right? So now I am hoping to find another double umbrella type stroller that is 29 inches or less in width with the baskets. I miss those already! I am looking at a used inglesina or maclaren. Anyone have one they want to part with for cheap? :p
