Question about movement

Okay, I am 20w3d and I am starting to feel movement. However I am only feeling it one side. I am very very worried. Can some of you please share and tell me this is normal or not. I would think I should feel them the same time. Thank you ladies!

 

My experience was that at 20 weeks I had no idea who I was feeling. :blush: They still moved around in there alot, sometimes I'd feel something up at top, sometimes on the sides, etc. but it wasn't until further on when they were more in their "place" that I could tell who the movement was coming from (if that makes sense) If you are worried at all, call your doctor for some reassurance. :hug:

 

Totally normal. So much depends on factors such as where the placenta is placed (anterior or posterior), on which way the baby is facing (toward your belly or your spine), size of the baby, etc.

In the early part of my pregnancy, I only ever felt our daughter because she was facing my belly and her little hands, legs and feet were ripe for the punching. Our boy, on the other hand, has always faced my spine and I could never feel him moving.

Now that I am almost ready to give birth, I can feel them both quite easily because they are so much larger.

I didn't start to differentiate between movement until later in my pregnancy. I actually didn't start to feel ANY movement at all until almost 23 weeks!

 

Baby B that is highest I felt almost a month before I felt Baby A that was lower down. I was so worried but now I feel them both like little boxers! I'm almost in week 26 now. :wavey:
