My boys are 5 weeks now and they are eating 3oz evey 3 hours. They are formula fed. My question is how much are you twins eating and when should I go to 4oz? Also, my boys do not nap very well. They only sleep like 15-30 min. at a time. Any suggetions?

my girls are 3.5 months and are eating 5 oz. at 5 weeks my girls were only eating 1 or 2 oz every 3 hours and i think they were just 2 months when they were eating 3 oz. you will know if they want more because they will still act hungry. cat napping at that age is completely normal just make sure they get lots of them! :)

On the whole nap issue, mine didn't start napping longer until right around 2-3 months. Hopefully the naps will start getting better for you. As soon as I started blacking out the room for their naps it started getting better. Good luck!

Once they started regularly draining their bottles was when we upped the amount in them. At the age yours are, naps were still very irregular and often not long around here. Hang in there, Momma! You are doing a great job!

My boys are 3 and a half months and they're eating 4oz every 3 hours. Sometimes they'll drink less. I worry that they're not eating alot all the time but I can't make them drink it all. Any other babies that age eating so little? They're 12-13lbs a piece

em, my girls JUST started taking five so I know your boys are going to start drinking more soon. Oh and my ped said that 4-5 oz at 3.5 months is average for that age. no worries!

I am breastfeeding, but pump and give the babies bottles on occasion (like when Mommy needs a sanity break and leaves the house alone!!). I had no clue how much to give them, as the breast doesn't have ounce marks :) but the pediatrician said a general rule of thumb is to take their age in months and add one...so my 4 month olds should take 5 ounces at a feeding.
