I have read that you are not supposed to use dreft if you have a high efficiency front load washer. Is this true? Are you girls using dreft? If not what are you using.

Dreft over-sudsed in my front loader, no matter how much we put in there. I'm now using All Free and Clear for HE washers. Added plus - it's also much cheaper than Dreft!

Nope, we've never used Dreft b/c we have the HE washer. We use Tide Free and Clear HE or All Free and Clear HE. I wonder why Dreft doesn't get with the times and start making a HE detergent!

Target and Babies R Us sells a baby degergent that is HE compatible...it is made by METHOD. it works really well.

I use Tide and I don't have and HE washer but just wanted to say that my kids ped. told me not to use Dreft. He said to use Tide or a Free detergent. One of my daughters had sensitive skin and he told me that Dreft has some harsh chemicals in it and you really don't need it for your kids clothes.

I've always used the All F and C for my frontloader and my 3 year old has had no issues with it. It's cheaper and you can get the small and mighty bottle which means more loads from a smaller bottle!

I used Dreft in the beginning (before they were born) till I realized that it wasn't HE!! (ooops!)
Then I switched to Tide Free & Clear :good:

My sister recently purchased an HE washer and was told not to use Dreft. I know she is using some other type of "children's" detergent, but I'm not sure what it is...sorry.

Ack!!! I just received a MASSIVE bottle of Dreft at my shower.... and I have a front loader.... Do you think BabiesRUs will take it back?

You don't need Dreft, All Free and Clear is cheaper, works great and comes in HE. The odds are, though, that your babies won't have sensitive skin and need "special" detergent anyway.

All F&C here too...Dreft actually has more fragrance in it than regular detergent...
