Question about Diapers

Has anyone used Pampers Swaddlers and then found a generic diaper that was comprable? I love Swaddlers, not the dry baby or any other type of theirs! The swaddlers fit them best and keeps the wetness away from the skin. TIA

 

I used white cloud (walmart) for DD and loved them.. They never leaked for me and she rarely got any diaper rash or anything.. I would get them now.. But i dont like Walmart.. too crouded!

 

I second the white cloud. My BIL got us some and I was pleasantly surprised at how good they are.

 

I liked using luvs. They are a little cheaper than pampers or huggies and they are pretty soft. And they work really good for overnight diapers.

I loved the Pampers swaddlers when my girls were younger - but now I have to say that Luvs is my favorite. I'm going through trying to find a "good" generic diaper out there for nights and have come up empty. Tried Target brand and generic from Walgreens - they both are USELESS for night time! My girls were soaked from neck to knees in the morning - crib sheets, blankets etc!!! I jus tpicked up some Pampers dry or whatever because that's all they had at Walgreens - right near my house - that's what I'll use during the night - both girls were fairly dry this morning- I'm stocking up on Luvs this weekend. They are a little cheaper than pampers or huggies. I haven't tried White Cloud yet though.

 

I second the Luvs. I use them more than any other diaper and they are pretty good especially since they now have the stretchy tabs. They are pretty inexpensive compared to others. Others I like are: Parents Choice (walmart) and the Sams club brand (I like the best) but you can only get those in size 3, 4 or 5.

 

I am generally a fan of generics but when it comes to night time, the generics don't cut it for me. Since the swaddlers, the only ones that have worked for me are the Pampers Cruisers(leaked in the Luvs, White Cloud, and Huggies...although I haven't tried the overnights yet...my boys are still a little small for those). Now, day time, I use generics (I prefer the target brand and not so much the Sam's club brand)

 

I prefer Costco brand diapers.

 

I too like swaddlers and at that age mine were in nothing but them. I tried white cloud, huggies, luvs and the playskool ones... Hated them all, i just now think that i might like huggies but i have found no generic that i like at all... CVS has them on sale oftena nd call P&G and gets some coupoons.

 

My oldest always had Pampers ... Swaddlers and Cruisers. The twins have had Target, Huggies and Pampers. I still use Pampers Baby Dry overnight (without any problem) and use Target during the day (not a single problem either). Saves a ton of money.

 

I hated the Pampers dry baby, my ds leaked out of them and my dd somehow wiggled out of them. They were awful to close the tabs and were big in the seat area and small on the waist.

I guess I will try some others when they are on sale and in small quantities to see if they work and go from there. Thanks everyone!

 

I love the swaddlers and have not found anything that I like any better. I want to try the costco brand next.

 

I got lots of diapers for gifts so I tried out several different brands. Didn't reallly like Huggies at all and they're too expensive. I do like White Cloud (walmart) and I haven't had a single case of diaper rash. They hold lots of pee! I've noticed the Pampers get really soggy when saturated and have had a few leaks out the tops.

How funny...my ds also managed to wiggle out of them! I looked down on the blanket to see him bare-bottomed! For now I'm sticking with the pampers swaddlers.

We use the target brand, and at night add diaper doublers. Our girls soak their diapers at night whether it be Huggies, pampers, or any other brand, so we just add doublers at night.

 

I like the huggies supreme, but rarely have coupons for them. Sometimes CVS/Walgreens have them for $8.50. I get a lot of coupons for Swaddlers thanks to relatives who coupon cut for us. Keep on eye out at Target as they had a good sale on them a few weeks ago...buy 3 packs for $8.75 and get a $5 gift card for free.
