I am hardly here anymore but I have a twin related question. So I need your help.

The boys are Identical and are now attending daycare. I have dressed Gideon in green everyday since they started except one day Yeshua wore his color, yellow. We only have 2 yellow shirts and one is long sleeved. So I am thinking of having Gideon wear green 3 days a week and Yeshua, yellow one day. They attend 4 days a week. Does anyone think this would be a problem. I would rather have them color coded then being called the wronf name all day.

I think it's a good idea! Smart too! Gideon Green, Yeshua Yellow! You are very clever! I might buy a few more shirts or something if you are going to continue and maybe do red and blue as well and then one week they can be red and blue and the next week green and yellow with a note about who is who when you arrive everyday. ( I Never thought about this before - didn't have to - interesting!)

I dress my girls identical for daycare, the teachers have known the twins basically since birth and can tell them apart so its not a problem.

I think it's a great idea. I've never thought of that either since mine are fraternal. I hope that it works for them. [IMG]

    Good idea!!

You could also do different colored shoe laces (green for Gideon and yellow for Yeshua). That way you don't have to worry about clean colored shirts of who is wearing what. The teachers can just look at their feet!

Belts or socks would work too. [IMG]

I have worked in daycares for years prior to my kids. I think it is a GREAT idea for you to color code. I would go with the two colors you mentioned plus pick out two other colors to wear on weeks. That way they dont get tired of wearing the same color. The Shoe laces would probably be cheaper but the shirts would be easier to notices faster than shoe laces on the shoe.

Mine aren't even identical and I still do something similar.
They wear the color closest to their name. On the days we have a sub this is very handy. (I still have a hard time understanding how they could ever get confused since they look nothing alike but I've witnessed the difference with the teachers.) We have a set of identicals in the class and they specifically ask they were dressed differently until one of them got glasses.

My boys are in daycare 2 days a week and I do the same. Matthew wears blue ALL the time and Michael is always the alternative. (red, green, gray.)
