Has any of you experience with the Quattro Tour Duo Stroller? Do you know how it compares to the Duoglider? My husband is not really willing to spend the 100 dollars to get a snap n go for just a few months. Plus it's available on line only and takes more than a week to be delivered. We already have an Evenflo Embrace infant car seat from my DD together with an Evenflo stroller and somebody gave us a Graco Snugride infant car seat. What do you think would be the best strategy? We also have a BabyBjorn.

I'm starting to stress out about this stroller issue, since we're having the babies in less than a week, even though we won't be going around much the next coming weeks. Your input will be greatly appreciated, I'm really indecisive!!!!

Hello, Just wanted to let you know I bought this stroller in August to replace the Graco Duo-Glide that I used for my boys first year. The Duo-glide was great, until the kids get too heavy and the stroller was unmanageable. So, I searched high and low, tested every double stroller I came in contact with, and decided on the Quattro.

    I LOVE IT!!!!

First of all, it doesn't look like every other dang stroller out there, it's easy to get the boys in and out of, it cleans easily, and it folds virtually flat. I like the neutral black and gray over all the fad colors that strollers are coming out with, lately. It "only" weighs 37 or 38lbs (pretty standard). Lots of room for storage under the seats (it even adjusts down to get packages out of if the back seat rider is laying down). It has a cute 'fanny pack" attached to the center of the handles with a roomy zipper compartment for phone, keys, etc... Then of course, two cup holders - one on either side of the handles. Oh, just to throw this in, too - I like the handle grips. The front seat has it's own little storage area under the seat. It's easy to get around clothing racks, and easy to get into a single wide department store door. I have gotten lots of compliments on it. Yes, compliments on a stroller! I am extremely happy with my purchase.

Now, with that said, let me also say, that it's NOT perfect! Here are my gripes:

Mainly, the poor kid in the front gets the less than comfortable seat, so I switch my boys each time (if I can remember who was in it last), then they each get time in the comfy back seat.

The front seat doesn't recline all the way (like 1/4 of the way), so the front child has to be an easy sleeper. However, none of the tandems are made with a front recline worth anything - that I know of, anyway.

The foot rests don't elevate. I don't think any tandem stroller on the market has this option and there is probably a good reason. I just figured that an elevated foot rest would make the child more comfortable when they are sleeping.

The front child doesn't have the bar that goes across his lap for a drink, snacks, and toys, or just for him to rest his hands on it. The stroller is equipped with a drink cup on one side and a snack cup on the other. However, the back seat has the bar, and it can be raised, but I'm not sure of it's function because I thought it was so that the front seat could further recline, but it isn't.

Finally, I plan on keeping this stroller until they won't sit in a stroller anymore.

I hope this has helped. I'd be happy to give you more specifics, pictures, etc.

I have the Graco DuoGlider. We have really taken that stroller to task. The best part about it is that it is my oldest (24 mo at the time) loved to stand on the basket, creating a 3 kid stroller. This stroller is a tank & I mean it in a good way. We still use it now & I plan to keep the girls in it for as long as I can.
I don't know anything about the Quattro, but if it's lighter & still has a tough basket that a kid can stand on, then pick your favorite.
BTW, my double snap n go was the best thing ever. It was worth the $100. Check craigslist & your local consignment sales, though. I sold mine for $25 when we were finished with it.

Merin did a great job of pointing out the features. I had a Snap N Go, which I used religiously until the boys were 13 months. I actually cried when I had to give it up. I would check Craigslist for one (I sold mine for $25). It takes such little space in your vehicle and holds sooo much.

I also had a Graco Duo Glider, but hated it. I got a Graco Quattro in May and even though we also have a Maclaren (yes, I'm a bit of a stroller addict), I use the Quattro almost exclusively.

Love the storage compartment under the front seat.
The seat reclining is a non-issue for me. We didn't start using this stroller until the boys were 15m and they would have NOTHING to do with laying down while we were out and about having a good time.
My boys actually prefer the front seat over the back seat, it's a better view, although it does have stadium seating.
Go for the Quattro...and start combing Craigslist or your local twin club's website and sales for a used SNG.

Ditto what the pp said about all the good features of the Quattro Tour. I love the Quattro Tour, that is what I have too. My parents bought the duo-glider but they like to use mine! It is a great stroller.

I had the same dilemma until I realized that with the Snap-and-Go there would be NO WAY for my almost 3 yr old to ride in it. I'm hoping that if we go on an outing like to the zoo or something for example, that I can use a carrier for one of the babies (I'm planning to get an Ergo) and leave one seat open should my 3 year old have a meltdown or tired feet and need to ride. If I didn't have another child I could see using the Snap-and-Go but it's really not practical in this situation.

Honestly, this stroller thing has really been stressing me out too! My youngest will have just turned or be turning two when my twins arrive and I am not sure what to do. People have been helpful with their input, but it seems like everyone has a different opinion.

Does the Quattro Tour have the seat in the back for a toddler?

Thank you all for your input! I'm leaning toward getting the Quattro and then looking for the snap n go on sale. I'm also thinking of the outings with the 3 children with one baby in the Babybjorn, and the other one and my toddler in the Quattro. I still need to check the compatibility with the infants seats, especially the Evenflo.

The limits are 50 lbs for the front and 40 lbs for back seat.
    Thanks again girls!

I have been struggling with the stroller issue as well. My parents bought us the duoglider travel system with the car seat for xmas. I don't want to hurt their feelings but from what I have seen, the quattro tour seems so much nicer. I think I am going to return what they bought for us and get the quattro even thought that will mean I will have to buy a car seat myself. I did come across a used snap & go in a consignment store for $40 and I snapped it up. I will use that until the babies outgrow the infant seats.
