Pumpkin Patch!

Has anyone taken thir LOs to the pumpkin patch yet? It seems like our 19mo olds would enjoy it. I'm a little worried about them getting upset on the hay ride, but figure a favorite toy/snack stashed in the diaper bag is good insurance.

 

We haven't done a pumpkin patch, but we did go to the orchard on Sunday and the boys LOVED it!! My guys are a bit older than your LOs, but they adored the tractor ride (Nate actually cried when we got off!) and they loved wandering up and down the rows of trees munching on apples and picking up windfall.

I think you should give it a try. You'll get some great photo opportunities as an added bonus!

 

I did the pumpkin patch with my two when they were 9 months old (didn't do the hay ride then) and last fall when they were 21 months old. Last year, they loved running around and looking at all the pumpkins and being able to pick out little pumpkins for themselves and help Daddy pick out a big pumpkin for the house. We also did the hay ride for the first time and the kids were uncertain at first but once it got moving, they were fine and didn't want to get off. I say go for it!

 

We're going sometime this week! We plan on taking a wagon and just riding them around in that. They don't listen or stay put very well and I'm 7.5 months pg so I'm not going to do any chasing around the pumpkin patch!! I'm excited for all the pictures and just to see the smiles on their little faces!!!

 

We are going this weekend with the local moms of multiples club. Can't wait!

 

We went to the apple farm yesterday with our twins club, it has a pumpkin patch, some farm animals and some small playsets for the kids to play in, they had a blast! They made miles yesterday morning! We didn't bring pumpkins home because we are going this weekend with our church, but just the experience of going was fun!
