pulsating- baby kicking on cervix or something- 26 weeks?

I have been having this weird sensation for the past couple of days. I have also been having a lot of hardening of my entire belly today. This sensation that I am getting feels like a little pulsating or fluttering deep inside just above my vagina or where I think my cervix is. It is hard to describe but could also seem like a little puff of air.... this is new. I was feeling a fluttering feeling for a while but it was not so deep.

So, of course, I have been a little nervous, especially because of the hardening today. But, I have a doctors appointment on Tuesday so I want to just relax and see how things are looking then.

Has you experienced something similar? Could it be my cervix dialating? I still dont know if I have felt a contraction yet.

Before Emilie was born she was kicking my cervix and that is exactly what it felt like, she was kicking my cervix. The Dr. told me it would not do anything, but I'm not so sure that it didn't help her come out early, but who knows for sure. Definitely mention it to your dr.

I have definitely felt that feeling...you described it perfectly. Like a little puff of air!

I don't have anything to add to ease your mind...I have been having what I *think* is just BH contractions, but I also have an appointment on Tuesday and hope to make sure that nothing serious has been going on with my cervix.

And if you are feeling your belly tighten, I would say that *is* a contraction?!?

Me too! Be sure to count the contractions and make sure you are not having too many(my doc said more than 6) in an hour.
