Because I have two hardcore major Gerber Puffs addicts on my hands!!! :icon_eek:

Is it normal for them to eat an entire container during their snack time??? I'm going to be in the poor house soon because I just can't afford to support their habit, lol!

That is so funny Jenny! Mine never ate that many... but hey, looks like you have big eaters, which isn't a bad thing!

Jenny, I used to give them the Gerber, but we do generic now...available at Wally World. I just cleaned up what appeared to be a PUFF EXPLOSION in my living room...they were running around the house in their walkers, stuffing puffs in(or flinging them on the floor) as they went! What a mess!

My little ones love them too. I usually give them as I'm cleaning up after breakfast and dinner.

I usually put a mixture of Puffs and Cheerios on their trays and they will both pick out all of the Puffs and leave the Cheerios!!!

What is the main ingredient in Puffs anyway? Baby Heroine?

I'm right there with ya, mine are puff addicts. They too will eat a whole container full at one sitting if I let them. Yeah they're my little piggys.

That's my twins, too. They go through about 8 a week it seems. They just love them and the wagon wheels as well.

We need to join the club...we too are puffs addicts here. It seems that they disappear within seconds of me putting them on thier tray! It doesn't matter how much they have eaten either...they seem to always have room for puffs! :D

You know what's even scarier? I think I'm just as addicted to them as they are  When I feed it to them I give one to one dd then one for me then one for the other then one for me and so on. I just keep reminding myself that a serving is like 75 pieces for only like 25 calories. Well, the first step is admitting you have a problem right? Perhaps we'll have to start a PEA online group (Puff Eaters Annonymous).

    This is too funny!

I have a question about Puffs. How do you know when they are ready to eat them? I tried giving some to my guys this past weekend, but they didn't really seem to know what to do with them and Cameron kind of choked on his. Is it too soon or did yours gag on them at first?

He was probably gagging because of the texture. They melt almost instantly and they're really small so they aren't a choking hazard. You could try snapping them in 2 and feeding him the little pieces until he gets the hang of them. As long as the mouth still opens, he's still interested.

But be warned, you may end up with Puffs Addicts too. :p

We're having the same problem here though Landon likes them so much, he's been forgetting to chew them and then swallow and he's shoveling like 5 in his mouth at a time and it's gagging him. We try and fit the wagon wheels in our mouths whole....we got some piggies... LOL and good suggestion about buying the walmart brand ones...that's what we do...

    Amy,
I still break them in half and my boys have two bottom teeth. I am just a freak when it comes to chocking even like Jenny said, they do dissolve. (I need an update in cpr). Every once in awhile, I will give them a whole one and since they have been eating them for weeks now, they get how to chew it so I think they are actually ready for whole ones. But at first, you can simply break them apart. Have fun!

I love when I take the Puff container out of the cabinet and shake it! They get so excited!
