So since my baby B has turned head down and joind his brother I have been having a lot more pressure and abdominal discomfort, but in the last week or so I have really started getting pain in my pelvic bone. The pain feels external and not in my vagina or cervix. It feel like the pain of falling off the seat of a boys bike and landing on that bar :icon_eek: it hurts more when I stand up from sitting for a long time and if I sleep without a pillow between my legs. Do you think this might be Symphysis Pubis Dysfunction, I read a post on that a few days back- but I don't have the thigh/groin pain. I have a doc appt tomorrow and will ask, but thought I would see what the experts have to say first. :icon_biggrin:

I would def. ask about it. I do believe I am having this as well and I go in tomorrow for an appointment. I have so many things that I will be asking I am sure I will be annoying.

This has been kicking my butt lately. I literally feel like I can't put my pants on, turn in bed, or walk up the stairs. This is starting to become a chore. I am only 28w2d. I assumed this would only happen later in the pg but from what I read some ladies get it earlier than others. I am hoping Peri will shed some more insight and give me some relief. I haven't slept very good for weeks now and i look horrible.

I hope you find out if that is what you have. Please KUP on what doc says as will I!

yep. that's what it is. unfortunately there isn't much or anything you can do about it. mine has come and gone throughout the pregnancy. it's back now. i tend to be able to walk it off a bit at this point. meaning when i initially get up from bed i almost fall down but then after a minute or two the pain in manageable. i've had to switch sides of the bed with my husband though cause i literally can only get on the bed from a certain angle. it's comical watching me get in my car. i hope your subsides. good luck!

Its good that you are going to a doc, my pain started around 16th week and since then doc has done few tests for example they sent me to an orthopedic and he said i have a pelvic fracture so i am now put on bedrest, they prescribed me crutches and then they checked if i have blood clot on my upper thigh and the pubic bone area, i also sleep with a pillow in my legs and rest is the best thing since i am put on bedrest and the more i rest its getting little better a wk ago i was in severe paint that i was crying :cray:, my DH :hug99: had to turn me over at night, now i can bare the pain, but you MUST go to the doc and let them check everything. I am also going for an MRI on pubic bone which will tell the doctors clearly what is going on. My docs are great when he saw me limping when i was walking he decided to do all these test the blood clot came negative so thats great :phew:.

See what you doc says but i would say rest as much as you can, keep your pelvis straight, if you have to turn keep you knees together and they to keep you both legs together and that will help a lot, it has helped me a lot.

I hope it helped :) Good luck at the doc's appt

Turning in bed is the worse!!!! It makes me not even look forward to going to sleep at night! I know I am supposed to be sitting as much as possible, but I feel like the longer I go w/o moving, the worse it hurts when I do! I feel your pain!!!!
