proud of my belly and like to show it off

I have always been very modest and I'm pretty shy in crowds, but now when I'm pregnant for the first time and knowing it's twins so I'm huge I love to show my belly off! I am so proud of it, I love when people tell me it's huge because it's like reassurance I've got 2 healthy babies in there. I don't mean that I go around in public showing my bare belly or anything, but when strangers comment on it I will pull my shirt tighter around it to make sure they see just how big it really is, LOL. And when strangers just ask when I'm due I tell them my 40 week due date, but if anyone asks me if I know what I'm having I always say "2 girls" because I'm proud of my twins and that I'm still out and about with this big ol' belly! And poor DH I always show him my bare belly when he is here and say "Look how big it is!" and after so many weeks now he teases me and replies "Where? I don't see a belly." He'll be watching tv and I go stand in front of it, sideways, so he can get a full view of my belly. Anyone else proud of their growing belly? LOL or am I a weirdo? I think I am going to miss it when it is gone...

 

I guess you can say I am proud of my belly b/c I have made it to 35 weeks and that feels like such an accomplishment with twins...but once my babies are here, I won't miss this big belly that gets in the way of everything and causes so much hip and back pain! LOL!

 

When I first started showing I had major body image issues and was so embarrassed to show off my belly, it was like 20 weeks before I started wearing materntity tops, the first day I did a dear coworker and friend of mine said, "that's better, now you look pregnant and not just fat!". The more time that goes by though, the more I like flaunting my belly, although I only have one maternity shirt left that is long enough to cover my belly, so I don't get out much anymore!!

 

I liked to show it off to DH adn DD1, but not in public, LOL. Probably because I was swollen like a balloon and not too excited about the "rest" of me :lol:

 

I love looking pregnant instead of just fat. I enjoy not having to suck my belly in

 

I love my belly! I've been lucky in that I haven't changed any where else on my body, I've just grown a belly.

I think I'll miss it after the pregnancy!

I wish I felt like that. Unfortunately, I dont. I cant stand people looking at me and then my belly, It's worse than boobs getting all the attention! lol. I am a pretty private person, so I guess I dont like the advertising!!! I think I look funny in everything and I cant wait till the babes are here so I dont have to put up with it any more. I know lots of people who say they miss their pg belly. I am doubtful that I will!!!!

I am pretty proud of my belly...most of the time. It was a long time and a lot of hard work to get one. I always show off my tummy to DH .

 

I had practically naked maternity pictures done at about 26wks. :icon_eek:
I love being naked!! Always have

 

I'm proud of it, and love to wear tight-fitting clothes that show it off.

But I don't think I'm really going to "miss" it when its gone. I'm just a little too uncomfortable (already!) to want it to look like this forever.

I went to the Hootie and the Blowfish concert Saturday night wearing a tank top w/my belly hanging out on the bottom and slim fitting jeans w/a straw cowboy hat. You should have seen some of the looks, most people smile and some just stare. I'm really getting used to people seeing the belly then looking @ my face, it's like having huge boobs (which I'm also proud of, it's just you barely notice them b/c the belly sticks out way further).

I'm proud of my belly, too! It feels huge, but it's doing what it's supposed to do.

 

I love my belly too! It's easy to show it off now, shirts starting to fit tight! I always bug dh with, "Is my belly getting bigger?"

 

I am amazed at my belly. It just seems to get bigger overnight. I am very fortunate that I am just belly right now (I am sure that will change as the pregnancy goes further along) but I think it is something to be proud of just to show that you got two healthy,growing babies in there. It's funny because my DH loves to rub it which I think makes the babies feel good.

 

You are not a weirdo at all! I love my belly, too. I get a lot of the same questions- when are you due? do you know what you're having (to which I always answer 2 boys.) I love being pregnant with twins and I love the questions (even the dumb ones.) Once they're here, I imagine I'll have my "belly" for a bit and that I won't like, but I love it now!

 

I LOVE my belly too. I have never felt sexier in my whole life. I went to a concert also and I wore tight jeans and a tight tank top and showed that belly off. My friend I haven't seen in a while said I hope you aren't offended but she said I look so much more sexy and beautiful pregnant. I sure wasn't offended. I also walk around the house naked.LOL I definitly will miss my belly. I like being round. If people want to touch my belly, strangers or not...I don't mind. I am proud.
