Allie and Ash have to do 3 projects this month. One is a cut out gingerbread person. They can use any materials or pictures but they have to be able to be mailed and they have to depict Cincinnati and or Ohio. Any ideas? Thanks!

Can you use newspapers? Can you find postcards? I know our WalMart has a small section to get Kansas postcards. You might cut newspaper out with the name "Cincinnati" going down the body or across through the arms. You might cut up letters so they you can collage buttons down that spell "Ohio" or use things like small pictures of the baseball stadium or King's Island.

Hope you get lots of ideas.

I was thinking what Marissa said, get pictures of landmarks or famous people from Ohio and put them on the bodies. Also, if there are foods or agriculture items that Ohio is known for, you could add those in.

You could take a picture of a bunch of buckeyes together in a pile and use that. I think a postcard is a great idea too.

What about using the state's flag colors or pictures of the state's birds, flower, etc.

How about using a map for the background?

This is exactly what I was thinking. You have gotten some great ideas :) I like being creative. Just try and be as creative as possible but make it fun for them as well. so it doesnt seem too much of something they "have to do for school" but something they can "enjoy" and look back on and say "you know, Im really proud of what i did" :) Good Luck  I read your other post, i hope 3 projects isnt too much for you all. All the best
