Progress! And Pics!

What a week my boys have had! I posted awhile back about getting them to sleep in the cribs, using CIO, etc...

So-Sunday night I put Nicholas in the carseat to go to sleep..and he WAILED! So-I took that as an opportunity to try the crib. I put him in the crib at 8:20 PM and he woke about 3 times, fussed for less than 5 minutes-and was down till almost 2am! Woke up and ate, and went right back down! YAY! The last two night have not been as easy as the first-but he's been sleeping in the crib since Sunday!!

Monday my boys turned four months old! Where does the time go??

Yesterday feeling guilty for lack of tummy time, I put Anthony on his stomach-he has the weaker neck muscles. Imagine the look on my face when he ROLLED OVER! I thought it was a fluke-but he did it FOUR TIMES! WHAT?!?!?! Hasn't since... but I will take it! And yesterday was the year anniversary of my very first BFP!!

Last night Anthony wasn't feeling well, so I didn't feel comfortable putting him in the carseat. So he SLEPT in the PNP in our room! He started there, then spit up and came into our bed, then once he woke up to eat-he went back into the PNP! Usually he wakes 3-4 times/NIGHT-and EATS every time! Only once last night-although dh did have to put the pacifier back in a few times...

And I started them on a little rice cereal over the weekend. It's fun watching them grow. I am waiting at the edge of my seat for them to laugh! Every time they are about to-darn hiccups show up!!!

One question: what do you do when they don't go back down after the 2/3/4am bottle? Do you CIO? I don't know what to do here!

FYI: Every month we take the boys picture in the same chair to see them grow! Can't wait(well I can... to see the difference at 12 months!)

 

Oh I just want to smooch those round lil noggins!! And I love those "Caution: Extremely cute" shirts!! :rotflmbo: I miss those days when I could set my babies in the chair and they would STAY THERE!! Thanks for sharing.

Meg, what little cuties! As far as the nighttime feed, I would just do it in the dark, wrap him back up, put him in the crib and walk out.

I have also taken a pic every month is the same bouncy chair. ALready it is amazing the difference. I am excited to scrap that page. Glad to hear your boys are doing well in cribs. When my DS gets up in teh middle of the night (still once in a while) I give him the binky and if that doesnt work then I let him cry.
