I'm 17 almost 18 weeks pregnant with boy/girl twins and have been on Progesterone shots since 16 weeks. I take them once a week so I've only had two so far. I've noticed that I've had a lot more discharge since my last shot and I know this is probably TMI but when it dries it's yellow (on a light days pad that I now have to wear!) <_< I was wondering if anyone else has had this with the shots and if it's normal. I don't have any irritation or anything so I don't know what else it could be. Thanks!

I'm just bumping this up b/c I might have to get them starting at 18 weeks and I'm curious to find out also. Pregnancy discharge is just nasty anyway...who wants to add more on top of what is already there. UGh! I hope you get an answer.

I don't know if it's the same or not but I took vaginal progesterone pills for the first 8 weeks of my pregnancy and I noticed a huge huge huge increase in yellowish discharge. I don't know if it was from the progesterone itself or the mode of delivery, I would call your ob nurse and ask, can't hurt!

I also notice that each week of pregnancy my amount of discharge has increased. I had a brief stint in L&D at 17ish weeks b/c I was having so much discharge they wanted to check me for ptl, false alarm.

    Good luck!

Thanks! I just freaked out last night because there was so much. My son was born at 24 weeks so I guess everything freaks me out! It sounds just like what you are describing and it's good to know that the farther along you went the more you had. I have an appt tomorrow so I'll mention it then.

I've done progesterone vaginally and via shots, and I don't remember discharge with the shots, but I wasn't pregnant (or just barely!) at the time. I would imagine it's due to the extraprogesterone in your system, though - there's so much already in there and you're upping the levels significantly. I'd double check with your doc just to be sure.
