Prof. pics of 7 mo. olds and 22 mo. old

I am planning on getting professional pictures taken of my twin girls and DS who will be 7 mo. and 22 mo. at the time. The photographer is very experienced and we have gone to him quite a few times. He said at those ages it will probably be difficult to get a good picture of all of them together. Do you agree? Does anyone have any suggestions to try to get a good pic? Also he says solid colors are best, not stripes are polk-a-dots etc. I want the outfits to match somewhat but is it going to be difficult to get girls and my DS similar color outfits? Any suggestions or advice would be greatly appreciated. Also I am hoping by that time my girls will be sitting up, is this unrealistic?

They should be sitting up by 7 mo old. If you are looking for solid colors I would recommend red. It is a great color for boys or girls. Htat is what I did for my twins. If the girls can sit up and not crawl yet, I think it would be a great time to get a pic. Then you just have to worry about DS moving. That should be easier. I recommend taking the pic before your girls are crawling, then it is much harder. I think it is doable. You might not get all fo them smiling and looking at the camera, but there are still good pics without that. I would bring and make sure he has good props. That will reall yhelp.

 

Get it done before they can crawl away! I also like white T-shirs & jeans for pictures.

I just had the twins 4 month and my older DS's 2 year picture done (all 3 together and then all seperate). My advice is to not be like me and expect big smiles and a cooperating toddler! My older DS was worse then the twins and he wanted nothing to do with the picture, but we managed to get one picture in. I think red is a good color, or colors that look good together (I went with solid yellow and navy blue). Good luck!
