Prevacid

Well today was day 3 on Prevacid and I definately see a difference already. My daughter is eating again (7oz.) 4x a day and my son is not screaming between feeds for a binky. Apparently the binky creates saliva which helps them feel better.

So now we are eating, binky free and even spitting less.

I cannot wait to see how great the results are once the meds fully kick in.

Maybe we will be one of those lucky people who spit less on Prevacid. I sure hope so! But mostly I am happy no one is crying!

 

That's fantastic news!! I remember when Ellie 1st started on the Prevacid, the difference was immediate and tremendous!! We had to stop/restart the Prevacid over the last two weeks due to some other issues, and it's taking a little longer to start working this time, but I think we're getting there!

That is great news! :banana: We definitely saw a big improvement once we started prevacid as well, and it did decrease the spit up for us too.

Now I am crying..... they just woke up from nap and I didn't have to change the sheets. WOW! I am so tired of doing laundry! I had seriously considered turning the heat up and leaving them naked all day and now maybe I can put them in the cute little outfits we have.

I have been very happy with the results already and I was told it takes between 10 and 14 days to really work! I hope it works for you as well! It is expensive but it is working for us.

 

Wow, how awesome is that :clapping: !! I started the prevacid the same day you did. Can't say I'm seeing that great of an improvement but I can say I'm seeing some. I think mine had "silent reflux" that I'm hearing about. I didn't have the spit up/throw up but my little girl certainly was in pain. She was screaming through every bottle now I think she screamed just during one in the last 24 hours. That's a difference to me. I'm happy for you and your babies. Now mommy you relax and enjoy your bundles. :hug99:

 

Yeah! What a relief! Prevacid was our miracle drug also!

 

4:30 and we are wearing the same outfit I put on them this morning and no one is screaming......... can you tell I am excited?
