Preterm Labor?

So, today I am 31 w 4 days and have a feeling like there is someone kicking (or head-butting) my crotch from the inside. painful, but intermittant. No BH that I can tell and just once and a while when I walk around. Can this be a sign of preterm labor or just a new a fun form of discomfort to deal with for the coming weeks?

 

For me it was a sign I was dialating, I had it at 24 weeks, but it was more pressure then anything. Everytime I stood it felt like a foot would pop out. If could be just reg discomfort though. If you are really concerned about it, talk to your OB next visit.

 

I would call the dr just to see what they say but in my. Case it was just a lovely new discomfort. I felt like I was being stabbed in the vagina at times and I had so much pressure that I felt like at any minute baby A would just fall out. It went away only after they were born.

 

yeah I agree to check with your doc first, but yeah I had those start about that time and still have tem at 34 weeks, lots of pressure like they are gonna fall out. It feels like they are just gonna kick a foot out at any min though! I also notice when A gets her hiccups it feels like she's gonna just pop right out too! She's been head down since 22 weeks

 

I think it's probably just pregnancy- but if you are worried enough to post about it, go get checked out. If it's nothing you have peace of mind. If it's something you get help before anything happens. :hug:

 

I agree it does not hurt to call your OB. :hug: I know my DD would kick my cervix (and I could literally feel her kicking it) and it turns out she was right there.
