Pressure... normal or bad

I'm 26 weeks pregnant with twin girls... At home on bedrest with a Terb pump and contraction monitor that I can use a few times a day. Last night I woke up out of a dead sleep with bad stomach pressure...it was nausiating, kind of like I was going to poop my brains out... but didn't have to. It went away after 20 minutes though. I put myself on the monitor and the nurse called...i only had a few contractions, and she didn't seem to be worried when i said the feeling died down. It was the weirdest, most uncomfortable feeling though. Could the babies have been repositioning or sitting on something?

 

Don't know...but does your stomach seemed to have 'dropped' at all? Maybe one has moved down a litttle, although you said the pressure went away.

 

I would definitely call your Dr and see what he/she has to say about it. It very well may be normal, but it is better to be safe than sorry. Good Luck! :hug:

Yes that sounds like something that you might want to mention to your Dr.
