I am about 18 weeks pregnant with twins. At around 16 weeks I started to have vaginal pressue. A feeling like the babies are falling out. I have had this feeling in previous pregnancies but not until 8-9 months along. Anyone else have this?

I'm about as far along as you and haven't felt that. I would call your OB and let them know. You know your babies aren't going to just "fall out" but you'll feel better if your Dr. is aware of it. Good luck mama :)

Is it pressure like you feel when you need to have a BM? If you are concerned, I would definitely put a call in to your OB.

I started feeling pressur early also. Once I went to my 20 week US, they checked my cervix and have been checking it every 4 weeks or so. That will give them a good indication on whether something is going on down there.

I felt LOTS of pressur at the 24 week US but my cervix was high, long, and closed. The babies are really small at 18 weeks also so they can get way down up against your cervix as well. Once they get bigger, later on, they can't go down as close. That's what my Dr. told me and I've actually felt a little less pressure as I got further along. But, I'm expecting the pressure to come back once my due date gets closer...

I agree that if you are all concerned you should call your OB right away. It may very well be nothing, but it is always better to be safe than sorry!

I felt the pressure down there from 12 to about 19 weeks off and on. Where I felt like they were trying to come out, I felt more comfortable holding my pelvic area. I went out and bought a maternity belt for extra support so I would be walking through the grocery store and people are staring wondering what's wrong w me or thinking that Im rude. Twin A has always been head down, now at 25 weeks I still feel pressure (down there) but more like they are BOTH head down stretching and punching. Like the other ladies said, check with your doctor and be sure to ease your mind.

With this pregnancy, i started feeling the pressure very early on too, my cervix is long and closed though, i think the babies can still get quite low at that gestation age. But if you need reassurance, just give your OB a call :D

Hopeblessed,
I am 16 weeks and have had vaginal pressure on and off for about 3 weeks now. I noticed that it happens more often if I am on my feet a lot the day before. I went to my doctor and they said everything looks fine and that I have "beautiful" cervical length haha. I was interested to read that it could be because the babies are smaller at this point.

I just went to the doc yesterday. I am 23 weeks. I would say for the last 3 weeks it feels like the babies are going to fall out, but everything is fine.
