Presentation of babies

I had an ultrasound yesterday. Babies are growing and doing great. Both are almost 2 pounds. Anyway, Baby B turned and now they are both head down. Yeah! I don't know if I am getting excited a little early, but I am really hoping for vaginal birth. When do they say, almost for sure, that they will not flip again? Baby A has been head down the whole time, Baby B has been feet down, until recently.

 

I was told 32 weeks at my last visit. I got concerned because Baby A had been head down UNTIL last week when he managed to turn himself breech! So, we are now letting him know he has five weeks to get back into position!

 

I have heard of twins flipping right up until the end. Mine stayed put from about 28 weeks on though.

 

my girls flipped 4 days before they were born at 38wks4days! so they can flip at anytime!

 

My baby a has been head down all along; baby b was breech until 32 weeks when she appeared to be flipping. At 33 weeks she was completely head down. I was so happy! But then last week at 34 weeks she was breech again! We will see where she is at my appt later today--I think she flipped back to head down once this week and now she's sideways. It's crazy how they move around in there with so little room, but they can!

Of course, this doesn't mean that your baby will flip again--hopefully he won't!

 

Not to burst your bubble, but here is my story. They were both vertex at a 27w u/s. Two weeks later I went for an u/s and THEY HAD BOTH TURNED! Baby A was breech and B was transverse! They have stayed that way ever since, hence a csection scheduled for Tuesday!

The crazy thing was I didn't feel them flip! I had no idea! I was so surprised and disappointed, but I'm okay with it now. I'm just ready to meet my girls!
