Preschool?

my husband and I were talking the other day about possibly looking into a preschool type setting for the boys maybe one or two days a week....are any of you doing this? If so...what is the best way to go about finding a place? We are new in our area, and we dont really know anyone to ask...so I'm kind of starting from scratch with all this! haha

 

I don't have my girls in preschool yet. I'm paranoid about leaving them with people I don't know when they can't communicate to me what goes on when I'm not around. But I think other people probably do it and that's just one of my personal hang-ups. I have noticed there is a preschool down the street from my house so maybe I should call to see about them starting around the age of 2. GL! You could try looking in the phone book for schools.

 

I will be starting preschool when I (or if) find a job. I've gotten recommendations from other parents and my SIL works for a preschool during the summer time. I would start with people you know who have children in preschool and ask them what kind of things they look for in a preschool and then tour some preschools in your area and take your search from there. Places around here start at 2, but mommy and me programs start at 18 months. If you are new in the area, have you joined a local twins or MoMs club? They might be a good resource. Or just start doing some research online and then go to the places and have a look around. I've also been known to strike up conversations with other moms at the park especially if the kids are older to see where they go. GL!
