My twins(4) attend Pre-K 2 mornings a week. 8:30 - 11am. We pay $60/mth each.

It was the same for our 2nd son.

Our first 2 children attended where we last lived & it was 3 afternoons a week (4 yrs of age) 1 - 3 or 3:30 :huh: and it was $160/th per child.

Yes

3) How many days and hours did they attend?

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 12:30-3

4) What was the weekly or monthly tuition fees?
Monthly tuition is about $180 a month (each) which is the cheapest I could find.

We did it for socialization of one of my DDs. It has really helped--it is $ we are watching, but somethings I cant teach at home (listening to another adult, following a group activity, using 'strange facilities', asking for help, participating in large group learning). It is a small Christian based Preschool with 6-7 kids. We love it.

 

Ours was daycare/pre-school which they stared at 13 months 4 days a week for about $800/mo.

3) How many days and hours did they attend? Two mornings a week from 8:30 to 11:15.

4) What was the weekly or monthly tuition fees? I pay $236.25/month for the two of them. They give me a discount.

I think that Liam will be eligible in September for preschool next year, but don't think that there is a need to send him for 3 years. They will all go for two years.

Mine started at just over 3. The first year was 2 days a week for 2 1/2 hours. The second year was 3 days a week for 2 1/2 hours a day, increased to 4 days a week in January with a special enrichment program. Jonathan went to preschool disabled starting Feb. of the 3 year old year, and he went 5 days a week for free. For Marcus, the 3's were $1100 a year, and the 4's were $1400 for the year.

no, not yet. we do ABCs and preschool type activities at home. We went to a Free community play group that was organized around a basic preschool curriculum from the time they were 15 months till 2.5 yrs once a week. Then we moved. I attempted to replicate the program as much as I could at home on a daily/weekly basis. At our recent (3 wks ago) Preschool Evaluation, we were assessed as being Kindergarten- Ready. I have spent less than $300 in doing this. I currently have them enrolled in the Weekly Library program (30 min - Free) and the Weekly AWANA (Bible) program (2 hrs - $60 for both kids for the year). I also take them to Sunday School at our church 1 hr/week (free).

Will they attend? I hope we can afford 3 days/wk when they are 4. If I could figure a way for them to start Kindergarten when they were 4 I would do it.
Here the average price for 2 days/week is $150/child/month.

At this point I'd have to go back to work to afford preschool.... But, Who is going to hire me for 2 hrs or less per day?

 

no preschool for us. we have been attending a nature class once a week for a couple months now, and they enjoy that. i have no intention of enrolling them in preschool. or regular school for that matter!

I wanted to add that it's the best thing I could have done for the girls. It has helped them socialize and learn from someone other than me. Also, it gives me some time to do things I need to get done.

No. They did do a 3-hour Tuesday morning "school" at a local Church of Christ at 4 years old but that's the only outside school they got. Everything else was just fun like Sunday School, trips to the zoo and museum, workbooks, practice writing, etc. They learned naturally at home and were just fine when they entered kindergarten this year. I'm not a big believer in the importance of preschool unless a kid is going to daycare anyway or if it is the only social interaction they can get.
