Ok maybe I'm still stuck in the mind set of a regular public school. I'm a schedule type person. I do better with schedules. The kids seem to as well. I work with DD three days a week. MWF while DS is in Kinder. I'm just wondering if anyone has/had a weekly schedule at this point? I'm thinking of setting one up. Something like Tuesday - library and Thursday - computers. Just something to make things more consistent each week. That way I can say tomorrow is Tuesday and she knows we're going to the library that day.

Our schedule is more set for night time activities. But I have been on a daily schedule this year. The older boys have a schedule for each individual subject. This allows for a certain time of day for the twins to do PreK. I don't have the schedule perfected, but I think it'll work for now.

Everyday Anna asks if tomorrow is a school day. I'm thinking if we work on learning the days if the week and use a monthly calendar it will help things out. She knows ds has a schedule at kinder and will ask if it's her day for the library or ask what's tomorrow. I thought a weekly schedule would help things out a lot.

J and J have been asking about "tomorrow" a lot lately, so I just started teaching them the days of the week. You could have a craft day, a library day, a cooking day (where she can help with her lunch), etc. That sounds like a great idea! If I had the capability of getting everyone to the library weekly, I'd take the twins to one of the groups that meet.

Those library classes are nice. I need to talk to our librarian. One class is 2-3yr old the other 4-5 yrs. Dd1 is 4.5 and Dd2 is 3. So opposite classes. I need to see if Dd2 can go with Dd1

I couldn't imagine why not. Our classes often have other siblings and parents involved. You know even if she had something to do on the days that you don't do preschool with her, at least she would have something to look forward to everyday.

They have let me bring the younger kids in the past. I'm sure they'll be cool with it this time. We're going Saturday to watch Mr. Cowpie. He's a guy that sings silly kids songs. He came to ds' preschool last year and he loved him. I'm going to sign the girls up then for classes that start the following week.
