    Hi,

Just curious what brand of prenatal vitamins you take? I'm taking NatureMade, and though they're HUGE, I have no problems with them. I know a lot of people have stomach issues (constipation to be specific), but that's not a problem with these pills!

Anyhow, I was just wondering what others are taking!

With my twins pg and now with this one I have taken Citracal (sp?). Now it has Colace and DHA in it though. My Re gave it to me before we conceived. It's been great.

I don't remember the exact name of them, but remember with my twins and singleton they were both huge pills. They were both prescription through my OB.

I'm taking prenatal pills from Costco. At my first prenatal appointment I asked my doctor if there was a difference between prescription prentals and the ones I could buy from Costco or elsewhere and she said there was no scientific proof that one was better than another. That said, you want to make sure the pills have enough folic acid and other essentials. A co-worker of mine was paying $50 a month for her prescription prenatals!

Duet DHA encoated vitamins. There is one not-too big pill and one small pill with fatty acids. The ones with the coating on them are fine, the ones I was taking without the coating made me sick - not what you need with all-day morning sickness.

I take One Source vitamins. They are small pink pills and you take 2 a day. I get them from Wal-Mart. The ones from the doctor made me sick.

One Elevit and two Omega 3 fatty acids. Yes they are huge...I actually asked the pharmacist if I had to take my pre-natal daily when I went to buy my first pack!! And no problems at loo.

I took Baby and Me whole food vitamins. They were really easy on my stomach and I could take them with or without food. I had sickness throughout the pregnancy, so even though they are expensive, they were worth it to me.

I take Rainbow Lite Just Once. It has EVERYTHING. Of course, I supplement still with a few other pills since I'm expecting two.

Actually I checked my bottle of pills, and I'm taking Rainbow Lite too, not Nature Made -- not sure where I got that from!! So far, they've been good for me, but I'm still going to check with my dr. when I see him on Friday to see what he recommends. I just feel like with two (or more) babies, wouldn't we need more than what one pill gives to someone pregnant with just one baby?

I am taking Calnate, prescribed by my doctor. She also has me taking a seperate iron and folic acid vitamin. She put me on a seperate iron pill, because I had my children so close together that my body hasn't had time to replenish it fully.

Right now I am taking I believe One Source over the counter- I know my OBGYN will put me on prescriptions soon though, so we will see! I don't remember what he had me on with my son, but I know they were coated and never made me sick. The nice thing about the One Source is they are small, but you have to take 2.

I take a generic prenatal brand from walmart. I haven't had any nausea problems with them as long as I take them with food or shortly after eating. I usually take them after breakfast when I brush my teeth and that helps me remember them daily. I haven't had any problems with constipation at all. My doctor asks every time I go in if I'm taking vitamins, but has never suggested getting a prescription and has never asked what kind I take.
