Pregnant with small babies

A friend of mine is pregnant with twins and Dr. said they haven't grown a lot in the past 2 weeks. What can she eat to fatten up her babies? I know when I was pregnant with my twins, this was a common issue with some babies.

 

You can have her check out Dr. Barbara Luke's When You're Expecting Twins, Triplets or Quads. There are eating guidelines to grow big babies/maximize caloric intake.

Protein. How far along is she? U/S weights can also be off by a lb, so they could be bigger then what they think they are.

 

I agree with the above suggestions, protien, and lots of it!! I drank lots of shakes when I was on bedrest.
Also in that the u/s's can be not so reliable!!

Ditto the protein - lots and lots of protein!! I wish I'd known that sooner and could have gotten my babes bigger.

 

Eat, eat eat, some things are better but she should be eating every 2 hr. Protein is a must, lots of fruits and veggies. I also recommend Dr. Luke's book.

 

Eggs aka protein. One of the most complex, pure protein source.
Balance it with fruits and veggies.
