Just wondering how many mommies on here are pregnant with a singleton after twins. I just saw a post on the 1-5 board that there are several and I'm excited about that!

Just wanted to say hi and introduce myself [IMG]

I am! My twins are 22 months and I am about 8.5 weeks along. SURPRISE, considering we did IVF for the twins and had NO help this time.

    What a great surprise LOL!

We had a big surprise too, I was actually on the pill!

Can you picture your twins with a little brother or sister?

Mine will be 20 months when the baby comes and I'm really nervous about it!

I am pregnant with my 5th. I had stopped nursing the twins when they were 8 months. I waited and waited for my cycle to start. I was telling myself that it take stime to start back up after nursing. After about 2 months I took a test, and it lit up positive.

My twins will be 16 months old when this baby arrives.

I am also expecting a singleton after twins. My boys are 11mos. They will be 15 months apart. I was on the mini pill and BF, not to mention it took 2 years to conceive the twins!

So, how many of you get the "are you sure it's just one this time" question.

I've gotten that question from just about everyone already - especially since I'm so big. We made sure we had the ultrasound before people found out. We still get the "are you sure" question even after we say it's only 1 [IMG]

Oh - yes - I tell them I had 2 U/S already and made them look twice!!! All my family members were VERY relieved when we told them it was JUST ONE this time!! I was sort-of hoping for another set.......mostly kidding!!!

I am going to miss all those U/S to see my baby. I had so many with the boys and felt really connected to them!

I hope you girls see this bumped to the top and read this b/c I have a question!

When did you outgrow your regular clothes this time around? I was in maternity at like 8 weeks last time and at 10 weeks this time - maternity is still HUGE.

My pants are getting tight and I am wondering how much longer until I outgrow my regular clothes.

As a side note - alot of my maternity stuff from the twins is XL - which is so huge - I just had to laugh!!! I look back at pictures and it is scary how big my belly was!!

Hope you are all feeling well!!

I am glad you posted this! I was actually thinking of posting this the other day but didn't. I am also feeling the crunch in my "regular" clothes. I don't wear much else besides athletic gear and sweats though since I am home most of the time. Those are even starting to get a little snug though. [IMG]

I was thinking that my maternity clothes that I used for the boys were going to be too big too as I had mostly larges and xls. Guess I will need to go shopping!

I had to get different maternity clothes this time. Everything was so big from the boys. I am 25 weeks & look very pregnant now.

My girls were 20 months old when my son was born. [IMG] Now my son is 20 months old...and I could not imagine have a newborn. LOL It goes by really fast..and it wasnt as hard as I imagined it to be. I was also living in Turkey and my husband was in Iraq for 5 months when my son was only 7 weeks old. hehe..so it can be done!! Good luck. I miss those days...when my babies were small.

I'm 19 wks and look obviously prego! Luckily I swap/share maternity clothes with my sis and some cousins so there is stuff in there that isn't HUGE and I can wear!

Right now I'm in this category... I'm only 5 weeks pg...so I have 3 more weeks until I find out whether it's "just" one or two.... I "felt" pg with the twins around 6 weeks... and with my older singleton at 8 weeks... this time around I've had some strong symptoms at just a few days past conception... so I'm a little nervous, but hoping that my body just knows how it's "supposed" to feel and is just kicking up into high gear early... My oldest was 20 months when we had the twins... they will be a little more than 2.5 and my oldest will be close to 4.5 when this next one (or two) comes along. We haven't yet told my family b/c I want to have the u/s first. I want to be able to tell them right away if it's 1 or 2 to just end the endless speculation. "oh my gosh, what are you guys going to do if it's twins again." etc. etc. etc. Like we would sell one or something! [IMG] In the meantime I have to hope that I can hide this for another three weeks.... I wasn't in maternity clothes with the twins until around 15 weeks so I think I'll be okay. My current pants are pretty loose on me anyway b/c I lost around 10-15 pounds this past year. So hopefully I can hide in those for a bit! [IMG]
