Pregnant again!

Hello. I haven't posted on twinstuff in quite some time, but we just found out that we are pregnant with #4! I had a miscarriage in May so I find myself apprehensive this time. We are holding off on telling family & friends too (other than my 2 best friends, that is). My HcG levels are tripling as the should be & an u/s is scheduled on the 26th!
We have 3 girls, Ella will be 5 in March and Lily & Alana are 3 1/2. We cannot wait to tell them! My oldest DD really wants a new baby & asks all the time if I have a baby in my belly yet! My name is Tamara, by the way! Thanks.

Congrats Tamara! I had a m/c April 30th and I too am very apprehensive! My dh and I haven't even told our sons yet because I don't want to get them all excited and then if I m/c again they'd be so heart broken. I have my 1st appt and u/s Friday and if we actually see a baby and its heart beat then we'll sit them down and tell them. GL to you! Oh this is baby #5.

Tamara, welcome! I totally understand about how a miscarriage changes that early pregnancy time. I had 2 before my twins, and even with this pregnancy, I was constantly stressing for the first few months. Congratulations on your pregnancy and here's to a wonderful pregnancy and healthy baby!!!

Hi. To answer someone's question I am only 5 weeks along, so it's very early yet. I experienced some bleeding this morning but it seems to have stopped & was very light. I have to go in for another HcG level tomorrow morning to be sure that everything is still okay. With my m/c in the Spring I had no bleeding at all & didn't find out I had lost the baby until a dating u/s at 10 weeks which showed that the baby stopped growing at 6 weeks. I have a feeling that next Monday will take a long time to arrive (u/s scheduled). Thanks for the Congrats!

 

Congrats and I hope all goes well for you and your family. Our girls share the same name (Lily Grace). We've decided to try for baby #5 and hope to be joining this forum soon.

HI. The doctor's office called to say that my HcG levels were in the 6,000! So everything still looks good at this point. This HcG thing is new for me since I didn't have any issues with my first 2 pregnancies! How stressful! I have an u/s scheduled for Monday so once I see that little heart beat I will feel so much better! Thank you for the kind words!
