Pregnant again

    Hello! I just found out I'm pregnant again! We are so happy but I'm realizing this pregnancy will be a lot different now that I have one-year-old twins to handle at the same time... I'm concerned about the weight of my double stroller - getting it in and out of the van is a bear! It's a double urban mountain buggy, and I love it, but I'm now worried about the weight of lifting it now that I'm pregnant. Are there any other suggestions for a lightweight, cheap double stroller? Should I think about two single strollers and somehow attaching them?

    Hi,
    Congratulations! I understand about the stroller situation. It's definately a challenge at times to get the stroller out of the minivan.

    I purchased a cheap Jeep SBS stroller that I occasionally use but have issues with since it's a 3 point harness and the kids love to try to touch the wheels :rolleyes:. I do find myself mostly still using our big bulky duoglider or Maclaren. I figure if I'm lifting two toddlers (they are both about 20lbs) then I'm fine with my strollers.

    No advice on the stroller, but wanted to say congrats on the pregnancy!!! Wishing you a happy and healthy 9 months!

    MacClaren and Combi are 24 lbs. each I think. Maybe try finding them on Craigslist for cheap. Otherwise they're over $200 new. Congratulations!

    Congratulations!!!!!!

    I keep the Kolcraft side by side umbrella in my vehicle. It's not very heavy and it's easy enough to use. It is three point harness but my boys aren't into trying to get out or manuver too much when they are in it (we keep the giant tandem in DH's truck).

    It used to be sold online at walmart but I guess not anymore. You can find it online elsewhere though and it's not expensive at all.

    Congratulations! I have been thinking this lately, too. We have the clunky Duoglider...heavy and awkward. My twins are older so I don't want to buy another that we won't get to use long.

    Maybe something umbrella-like.....
