Pregnant Again-help

Hi everyone,


My husband and I were ttc for 2 yrs and we finally got pregnant with IVF and I had twins last year. My twins are 7 mths old and now I just found out I am pregnant again with a singleton, but naturally this time (we didn't think it was possible) and I am so scared!!!! I am not sure if its possible to have another child and be able to take care of the twins properly. By the time I deliver my twins will be 1 yr and 4 mths old...do you think its possible? I need all the encouragement that I can. Anyone else been through the same thing?

It is VERY possible! A webfriend of mine was in the same situation except she found out when she was 4 months pregnant with the singleton! Congratulations! Your twins shoudl be walking by then and it'll go better since you've had to take care of two before!

 

Congratulations on your twins and the new pregnancy!! It is certainly doable! I encourage you to visit our Pregnant After Twins forum where you will find mommies that are in the same boat! It is in the Expecting forum. :hug99:

 

I am contemplating doing the same thing to myself - I think the key is to get your twins sleeping really well ASAP so you'll be able to take care of your newborn. CONGRATULATIONS. What a gift. A scary gift, but a gift!

I have a different situation, but I know LOTS of ladies on this board are doing a great job, and I'm sure you will, too!

Congratulations!!! You can do it! Two of my friends had babies 1.5 years apart. They didn't have twins though. If you could handle twins, you can handle a singleton.

I had two singletons first and then twins. You will be able to do it!!!! Good Luck!!!

Hello and welcome! Yes it may feel hard but you'll be able to take care of all 3. My sister had too take care of a 3y and 18 month old twins when her youngest was born and she did fine. She basically had no help because her ex-dh was rarely home, part of the reason he's an ex.

That is the exact age difference between my twins and the baby after them! 16 months!

It's a lot of fun! Crazy those first few months, but such fun!!
