Pregnant again after twins

I am back again. Our twins are 3 1/2yrs old and we just found out 2 weeks ago tomorrow that we are unexpectedly expecting another baby!!!

I had my first appt today and because I had twins before, my ob did an ultrasound also to get an idea of how many babies. So far, we see one! I am very happy with that!! Our twins were spontaneous and are fraternal so I was wondering if it would happen again.

I am 6w 1d along. Another appt in 2 weeks.

Our due date is February 22nd. But b/c I have to have a c/s, it will be a week early.

Congratulations! Enjoy it, but be prepared for a lot less prenatal care. I am getting ready to give birth to #3 and we have only seen him twice on U/S! With the twins, I saw them practically every other week at the end. The adjustment from high-risk to "normal" took some adjustments, but it was a blast. Everything seemed easier pregnancy-wise.

 

Thanks! I actually hadn't thought of it being a normal pregnancy!! I guess there will be less ultrasounds. I am happy if we get one more between today and the big ultrasound and then one at the end.

I just can't wait to nurse, care for, hold, sling, bath, etc just ONE baby!!! I am going to be so spoiled! I had a single baby before the twins but that was almost 7 yrs ago. Once you have twins, you almost forget how easy one is! LMBO!!!

 

It's so nice to be low-risk. I adored being pregnant with one- I'd just forget I was pregnant every once in a while. I wasn't all consumed with complications, eating & peeing. Congrats on #4!
