Pregnancy Drama!

We had our 35 week appt today. Dr. said babies looked great and commented that I was doing really well. We were able to get him to schedule a date for the csection! Our last day of being pregnant will be March 6th! We are sooooooooooo excited. I can't believe that is 14 days away. After our appt. we had to go for our NST, babies were both great and reactive.We were there for 30-45 min. I was having contractions about every four minutes but they did not see that as a problem. They did find some concern with my bloodpressure. I have ALWAYS had very good blood pressure. Today it was 133/93 and then 122/99 taken about 15 min later. So triage dr. came in and told me they want to do some bloodwork to test for preeclampsia. So after an hour, I was sent home with 24 hr urine collection and need to bring it back tomorrow. I have an u/s tomorrow and then I will drop off the sample and I guess I will wait to hear what the next step is.

 

WOOHOO!!!! 14 days!!!! not much longer before you can kiss those sweet toothless mouths!!! how exciting!!!!! I cannot tell you enough how neat it is to have twins!!!! I hope you do not have pre -e !!!

The EXACT same thing happened to me at the same time in my pregnancy. I had to spend 2 nights in the hospital because it fell on a stupid weekend and they wouldn't discharge me w/o talking to my peri. Needless to say, everything turned out fine. If I'm not mistaken, I told the story on my blog. It would be in June of 2007. Good luck and congratulations on making it this far!

 

I hope all goes well with your tests. That is so exciting that you have a date now. I don't understand why it isn't a problem that you were having contractions though, did they check your cervix and find that to be ok? Good luck tomorrow.
