Ok, 6 weeks ago, I was a 36B...well, now I'm popping out of my 38C sports bra. YIKES!!! I remember my boobs got BIG really quick with the twins. When is it safe to buy some new bras? After this inial spurt...don't they stay about the same until the milk comes in? I can't remember. Should I just go and get like a 38D and be done with it?

I have no bras from the twins b/c my maternity clothes accidentally got mixed in with all the stuff we donated to the Kidney Foundation, so I literally have NOTHING from that pregnancy. I'm pretty upset about all of that, but oh well, nothing I can do about it now!

It's funny that you ask this... I just went out and bought some new bras last night. I usually just pick up nursing bras and use them for the rest of the pg. I buy mine at Motherhood b/c they are so cheap! Just $12 for the style I like. I was bummed b/c they did change them a little and I think they will be harder to use. I find that my size always peaks about a month or two into bf. The ones I bought just fit me now..and they are the same size I was while bf my twin ds!! yikes! So I might be sending dh out to pick up the next size up down the road! LOL!

Mine have stayed the same size for both pregnancy's. I have to buy them at Lane Bryant or a store like that in order to get my size. Wal mart has them, but they aren't as comfortable!

Hey I could almost fit back in my As prior to this pg... and I got the same cheap bra at motherhood...36D.... yup...it fits perfectly...this is why I'm thinking I might have to send dh out for unprecedented size E after I start nursing! yikes!!!! Maybe it varies from style to style...b/c I still have my old, cruddy D nursing bra from my twins (I kept it as a size reference so I would know what to pick up...but the styles changed) anyway I tried it on and it's really loose....so I'm thinking this is just a snugger style... the clasps on it seem like they are going to be really hard to open and close...grrr... Oh well, with my other favorite bra I had to sew the hooks back on by the end of my nursing year...there was literally a hole developing on the strap area!! LOL!!

Oh yeah, I was totally an E when I was pumping with the twins. WHOA! Gotta love that! DH was thrilled, but that was the no-touching zone...lol!

Our nearest Motherhood maternity store is an hour away, I may make DH take me this weekend, I really need a bra that is comfy, and it is hard finding 42 D just anywhere... I have such a large rib cage or something! LOL

our store seemed to have a good variety of sizes in stock...but you might want to call to make sure they have your size there..so you don't waste the trip.. For some reason our Motherhood has a lot more selection with the underwire bras....which I totally cannot tolerate while bf...and I've actually heard that underwires can encourage clogged milk ducts to occur! Anyway, the other ones I've gotten there are super comfy... much preferred, by me anyway, to anything else I've found...

I waited till after my births to go bra shopping. Because mine seemed to grow afterwards. I got a Liz Lange sports bra at Target really cheap and lived in that one. I'm a 34 B was a 32 C before twins but my boobs have gone down. I ended up getting into a C after Andrew and that sport bra seemed to fit really good. Or I bought one of the nursing cami's. I sleep in cami tank top at night anyway and when I was nursing that was really great.

I'm a 36HH now, and can't find a good nursing or pregnancy bra for the life of me!!!

I finally broke down today and bought two sports bras with a size 40 band :cray: . The underwire in my bras were killing me though. I'm not too keen on wearing a sports bra but if it's comfy I'm in!

With my twins, my boob size was the first indicator that I might be prego. This time, they have not even changed, they are still droopy from bf'ing 16 months. I cannot wait for them to grow so they don't look so saggy!! But I too will probably be heading to Motherhood for bras soon.

Anyone have any suggestions for bigger maternity bras?

I'm pretty large chested and got suggestions on Bravado Bras. (Found online) They aren't really cheap- about $35-$40 a bra- but they have really large sizes and the sizes are adjustable. I just ordered my first one yesterday so I haven't got it in yet. I'll let you know how I like when I do.

The kicker for me was that the sizes are adjustable. I'm currently a 38DD (busting out) which is also my pre-preg size. The size bra I got goes from 38-42 band size and the cup size goes from D-G. (I believe, I could be wrong on that.) They have 3 different styles for different support needs too, which is something else I liked.

They are a little expensive, but I normally pay about that much for a good support bra anyway, so that didn't bother me too bad.

Oh, they also have the nursing tank tops. I didn't get one yet, but I think I may for nighttime feedings down the road.
