I am 33 weeks today and for the last 2 weeks have had a lot of round ligament pain/stretching. It is manageable but both my OB and peri have recommended a pregnancy/support belt. Has anyone tried wearing one of these and did you find it improved your symptoms? I only have to make it 3 more weeks as they will induce at 36 weeks but the evenings are getting more miserable after working 6 hour days. Just curious if it was worth the hassle and money to wear if for 3 weeks. Thanks!!

I bought one from Motherhood last week, and I really find it uncomfortable. Whenever I sit it digs in a lot, and gets bad fast. I am planning on returning it this weekend. I wanted some relief because I feel SO heavy!!

I bought one from Motherhood too and I also don't like it. It fits fine and is comfortable...actually helped take some pain away for me, but also left a flat spot on my tummy that took two days of not wearing it to round back out, and my girls didn't like it at all...they kick at it alot when I put it on. I decided to not wear it, but am keeping it JUST IN CASE I REALLY need it in a few more weeks...

I used one, and it really worked on my back and hip pain but I agree it was a pain!
It made me itchy and it dug into my skin and it made going to the bathroom even harder!!
But looking back, everything was uncomfortable!!!
Good luck, I hope you find some relief!!

I bought one from a medical supply store on-line and I love it! If I'm going shopping or doing an activity where I'll be on my feet for a while it's really worth it!

I have a belt that I love. Its made my "Mother to be" and I got it from amazo.n - it had the best reviews. It really helps me but I only wear it when standing. I take it off when I sit down. It helps support my belly and makes my hips feel better too. I wear it for cooking, grocery shopping, housework.. whenever I will be standing for awhile. I wear it over a long tank top and under my maternity shirts when I go out in public and you cant see it. I dont think the belts are designed for when you sit down. Its definitely uncomfortable to sit in one.
