Preeclampsia

The results from my 24 hour finally came back from the lab and I am certainly over the 300 cutoff. I was given 2 options today.
1) c section tomorrow
2) go to the OB's office for a BP check and then we go from there.

I selected door #2. If my BP isn't crazy high, then we will try to wait for Friday. Otherwise we will move the c section up.

Part of me really wants for Friday to happen simply because I want this to be as normal as possible. (as in not being moved up due to complications) Of course, the health of me and the baby come first. And I have no issues with moving it up if I go into labor. I just really want as normal of an "ordeal" as possible.

Good luck! I hope everything goes well with your BP. I totally understand what you mean about wanting this experience to be "normal." I feel the exact same way. I delivered my twins early due to hypertension and don't want to do that again. My BP has been creeping up but at my OB check yesterday is was back down within normal limits...so I was very thankful for that. I hope you get to show up for your scheduled c-section date or your water breaks and the baby makes the decision for you (that is what I want for myself also.) Take care and rest as much as possible, that is all you can do for your BP. Your in my thoughts. Take care!

It's only 7:30 am here, so I won't know for at least an hour. I am going to hold off on eating or drinking anything this morning just in case, though.

That stinks! I has Pre-e with the twins but no signs of it this time (knock on wood). It snuck up on me with the twins as it was. Good luck with everything!!!
