Prayers Please *UPDATE*

My best friend's baby is 18 months old and at 7 am this morning (central time) they started her second heart surgery. I have not heard any news yet. Please pray for her. I will update when I hear more.



** Ok so she is out of surgery and the doctors say that it went great and that the are hopeful that this will be her last surgery. **

May I ask what (if you know) is the name of the heart condition she is having surgery for? Just curious as I had open heart surgery at 18 months of age for Transposition of the Main Arteries.

When she was born she had tetrology offalo (sp?) and a narrowing of the pulmanary vein. SHe had surgery at 3 months but it did not fully correct it. THe way it was explained to me is that she has 2 holes in her heart. Thanks for everyone's prayers I have not heard anything yet except that the surgery had started.

 

I hope everything is ok and I will keep her in my thoughts, no baby should have to go through something like that.
