DD has a huge interest in going potty. She'll grab her diaper and say Pee Pee Potty! She'll go sit and its hit or miss as to whether she actually goes. Its frustrating because we'll be buckling her into the car and she screams "Potty." So I usually just tell her later and I'm afraid I'm setting myself up for a harder potty train later on!

I have one girl that has started getting interested in the potty. A lot of that is because she has to do everything that DS does. If he sits on the potty and she's around then I have to put her on.

As far as your DD--I was potty trained by 18 months so it never hurts to let her try. You never know you may be able to have one less one in diapers. ;)

Once we get home from vacation I am going to start potty training DD. She is showing signs of being ready and the ped said the samething. Even if she is not quite ready to be 100% potty trained, I am going to give it a try.

Hey, if she's showing signs, I say go for it. All my kids have been potty trained before 2, and it's never been a hassle, hair pulling out kinda thing. I never forced it, I just persisted and they followed through. It can be done!

Hannah and Natalie are both very interested in potty training. Hannah desperatly wanted in the bathroom a week or so ago, sat on Rachel's little potty (yes, she still uses that one  ) and pooped right away -she still had her diaper on, Rachel opened the door for her. Natalie was trying to put Rachel's panties on on Wednesday. I asked her if she wanted to start learning potty and she said yes & ran to the bathroom. It was time to change diaper/get dressed for the day anyway so I took her jammies & diaper off and she peed in the potty. I was clapping and making a big fuss and she was looking at me like "what is the big deal, I needed to go" Sorry, that was a bit of a hijack - but I am going to start soon - I'm just dreading it! I don't think it's too early if it is child-led. I just need to get myself motivated.
