Yay!!! Cross your fingers and say some prayers!? Just kidding! My girls just finished potty training (sleeping with undies for the first time tonight..hoping it goes well.) When they first pooped on the potty we tried to make a big deal of it but not toooooo much. I have 4 children and sometimes they would get a little freaked out about the poop, especially if we went overboard on the hooting and hollering. It really depends on the kid. We gave 5 M &Ms for poop but I'm not sure it was the best motivator. They really liked it as reward when they were pretty proficient with pooping anyway. It may still take some time, but see what happens tomorrow...regardless you are on your way to diaper freedom!!!! It is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We just went diaper free for the first time in 9 years!

Keep encouraging them! Be patient with the step forwards they take and the step backwards.
With my DD, M&M's were a great incentive and my DS: stickers were the great incentive.

That's great! I agree with encouragement, lots of praise, and possibly small rewards like M&M's or stickers as incentives. Cool new big kid underwear too if you haven't bought it yet!
