Day 1 of our potting training "boot camp"

Started after preschool at 12 noon.

Ended at bath time 6 pm.

End total... 2 boys, 2 little potties, 19 pairs of underwear, 5 pairs of pants (we went pantless after that), two towels, and a handful of chocolate chips for rewards.

Moderate success. While Aiden took longer to "get" the idea, by the end of the day he was doing a decent job of fully emptying his bladder each time he had to go, and only a little wet between "the signal" and the potty. He also would demand his chocolate chips. Noah, on the other hand, got the concept of "this is underwear, not a diaper" and held it in for almost two hours and 12 oz of soda before crying for a diaper. I refused, put on the little potty, and held him there. After he finally couldn't hold it anymore and peed, I did a dance and gave him 4 chocolate chips. After that he was happy to use the potty for chocolate chips. But he only does a little pee, and then has to go again 5 minutes later. He still also gets a little wet between realizing he has to go and making it to the potty. And after so many trips, he didn't even want chocolate at the end.

    I'm exhausted.

You give me hope! My son is also almost 3.5 years old and has NO interest whatsoever. I plan to start "boot camp" when school is over in a month. He'll be pantless all summer until we get this figured out!!

Its the morning of Day 2, before we go to school, and Aiden's peed twice with no prompting. He just wants his chocolate chips. LOL I'm putting them in pull ups for school, but I"m also going to pack along a small bag of chocolate chips in case he uses the potty at school. (their diapers were very wet this morning though, so I'm thinking that night training may take longer then I thought)

My boys dont wake up dry yet. Or that I realize  They will go on potty if i bribe them with treats. BUt that to me seems like training myself not them. And they will do little drops for half an hour to get more treats. I tried stamps but that did not keep their interest long. They are almost 3.5 and I think they KNOW whats going on but flat out refuse to wear anything but diaper. I dont want it to be a discipline thing but i am SO SICK OF BUYING DIAPERS TOO.
