Any recommendation of books and DVDs for potty training?

 

Any recommendation of books and DVDs for potty training?

 

I checked THISone out of the library and it seems to have some good ideas. I'm working on training some with Catherine, but I don't think mine are totally ready yet!

Not sure if you mean books for you or books for the kids, but my boys all enjoyed "Once Upon a Potty" very much. I also read them "Everyone Poops," although that touches only briefly on using the potty.

 

I remember going to Barnes and Noble and buying every book they had on the topic of potty training, coming home and reading all of them before I introduced the potty to them and you know what.....I was still completely clueless. They wanted nothing to do with the potty and so I gave up for a while. About 6 months later ( a week before Thanksgiving last year) Audrey just decided she wanted her underwear and that was it for her. I was so excited! We are still working on Aiden ( at his own pace ). After all that preparation, they ended up teaching ME how it is done. Potty training is MUCH easier than I anticipated.
