Have any of you used one of these after a C-section? I read in a book of someone who's Dr. prescribed one while she was in the hospital after her C-section and said it helped her feel a lot more comfortable with less pain. I'm probably going to have my twins by C-section and am looking for any way possible to feel better quicker afterwards.

here's a link to what I think they were talking about http://shop.nurturecenter.com/lovcompossup.html

    Thanks!

I wear that same belt, but didn't start wearing it until a few weeks ago. I find that it helps keep that jiggly belly in! I delivered via c-section and didn't experience very much pain pp so I didn't think to get one of these then.

I delivered via C section and did ask one of the nurses to bring one to me. It did help me a lot.
I also found it comforting to hold the jiggly belly in afterwards.. and just for some support for your
back.. if you can get one, try using it.. I used it for quite some time.
I wish you a healthy pregnancy and delivery!

The hospital put a 'binder' on me. It was like an abdominal binder... I wore it for about 3 weeks. Whenever I took it off it felt like everything was falling out of me, LOL It really did help.

I too wore a band for the first few weeks. It really helped ease the pain. I felt like I had a ton of excess skin and jello jiggling around in my belly. The band kept it all sucked in, which alleviated that heavy feeling of lugging around my belly. I highly recommend one.

My doctor gave me mine in the hospital after I continued to experience a lot of pain and discomfort, despite medication.

Thanks everyone! I was going to buy one now, but maybe I'll wait and see if I can just get one at the hospital.

it was great at first to hold me in - I felt like it was giving me some support and I wasnt falling out everywhere!! However after a few weeks, i noticed it just pushed my fat over the top (with rolls of fat) and I looked a weird shape, so i gradually stopped wearing it around 2 months!
